What you will study
The BSc (Hons) Criminology at the University of West London enables students to gain an understanding of the nature and causes of crime while examining how criminal justice systems work in the UK and abroad.
Students will benefit from the expertise of highly experienced criminologists and will have opportunities to undertake work or voluntary placements within the criminal justice system in the UK.
Work-based learning is an integral part of the degree, giving students the chance to gain first-hand experience of the challenges explored in their theory modules.
Students will also have opportunities to take part in field trips linked with their studies.
The BSc (Hons) Criminology at the University of West London also offers a foundation year. The foundation year course is designed to equip students with the skills and knowledge needed to continue on to their honours degree. Students will study a range of subjects that will underpin their future study and gain valuable experience of university life, with full access to campus facilities.
