Graduate Certificate Bundle - Visual Effects (PVEFF) + Clinical Kinesiology (PCKNS)
Sheridan College - Trafalgar
What you will study
Visual Effects Program Visual effects is truly a balance of left and right brain thinking. Students must be able to understand and utilize both art and technology to create effective visual effects. Only by exploring the latest software and technology in-depth, will students be able to apply and grow their artistic talent. Whether it's creating massive destruction scenes or expanding the scope of production, nearly every film now requires visual effects for support. By collaborating with students in other filmmaking programs, students will learn to become part of the film production process and capable of creating and integrating any digital elements required to tell the story. The Visual Effects program at Sheridan provides the industry's most comprehensive curriculum by leveraging the knowledge and facilities of their world-renowned Computer Animation and Advanced TV and Film programs. Their instructors bring years of industry experience and a passion for creating visual effects.
Clinical Kinesiology Program It takes more than lectures and textbooks to prepare students to work with real-life clients. Students apply knowledge acquired from their kinesiology degree in a clinical environment through a blend of problem-based learning and supervised placements. When students graduate, they’ll be armed with 728 hours of hands-on experience — more than they’ll get in any other kinesiology program in Ontario. Every client is different, presenting unique challenges that require unique solutions. Learn how to plan, implement and evaluate programs that are customized to meet their complex needs, grounded in coaching and communication strategies that build confidence and keep them motivated. Students will also develop the skills needed to run their own clinic in a sustainable, ethical and professional manner.
Professors in this program also teach in Sheridan's kinesiology degree and have real-world experience working with clients in many capacities — including clinical exercise rehab, chronic disease prevention and management, injury rehab, high performance, and strength and conditioning. They will closely guide students through problem-based curriculum specifically designed for clinical professionals.
