Program Description The Faculty of Applied Health Sciences and the Faculty of Education co-operate in offering a concurrent six-year program combining a Bachelor of Physical Education (BPhEd) (Honours) degree with a Bachelor of Education (BEd) for students interested in teaching at the Junior/intermediate level (grades 4-10) emphasizing elementary school (grades 4-8). Students' teachable subject will be health and physical education, and they will also be take courses in Child and Youth Studies and Education. Opportunities for field placements will begin in second year and continue throughout the program.
