Overview

This mathematics degree gives you the advanced mathematical methods and techniques you will need to succeed in mathematics-based roles.

Through this degree in mathematics, you will grow as a mathematician, gaining analytical skills that you can apply to problems in the real world. We will also train you to use mathematical software so you can understand the strengths and limitations of computers and other tools. If you are interested in becoming a mathematics teacher, you can gain classroom experience by taking part in the Undergraduate Ambassadors Scheme.

The course is accredited by the Institute of Mathematics and its Applications, the UK's chartered professional body for mathematicians. In the 2019 Guardian University Guide, our mathematics courses were ranked in the top 10 in the UK.
