Curious about how to make a more sustainable world? NorQuest's Sustainability Coordinator program with a specialization in Reporting and Disclosure equips you with the skills and knowledge for a career that makes a real difference. Our Sustainability Coordinator program approaches sustainability as a mix of social, environmental, and economic factors that affect local and global communities. The specialization focuses on teaching sustainability industry-specific reporting and disclosure skills, preparing you to meet the growing demand for reporting in response to new sustainability standards. You will learn skills such as stakeholder engagement and communication, principles of change management and project management, data management and reporting and sustainability framework compliance, such as the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Task Force on Climate-related Financial Disclosures (TCFD). NorQuest College believes in the importance of on-the-job experience that provides an enriched learning opportunity. The Sustainability Coordinator program offers two valuable opportunities to participate in work-based learning: In second year, you will gain hands-on experience through an applied research project, collaborating with industry partners on real-world projects. Between first and second year, you can choose to participate in an optional paid co-op module for additional relevant career experience and industry networking connections.
