What you will study
The Bachelor of Science with a major in Computing Science provides students with a strong foundation in advanced algorithms, mathematics, database management, data analysis, programming, and software design. The program also explores important topics such as privacy, cybersecurity, ethics, big data processing, and machine learning.
During the first and second years of study, students develop core knowledge in the tools, techniques, and concepts of Computing Science. Coursework includes programming, computer hardware, basic data structures, and foundational mathematics courses such as calculus and discrete mathematics.
In the third and fourth years, students may choose to concentrate their studies in one or more of the following areas:
