This program emphasizes practical, experiential learning to ensure students are fully prepared to enter into the workforce post-graduation. Lakehead University’s programs are continually adapted to encompass a variety of educational settings and training opportunities in two divisions: • Primary-Junior (P/J): JK – Grade 6 • Intermediate-Senior (I/S): Grades 7-12

Lakehead Science One allows students to explore a range of disciplines from the Faculty of Science and Environmental Studies without having to select a particular major until the end of their first year.

University is a time for exploration – Lakehead Science One allows students to take a mix of different courses throughout their first year to uncover their true passion.
