This student-centred course with research-inspired teaching is accredited by the British Psychological Society, so when students graduate with at least a Second Class Honours, they are eligible for Graduate Basis for Chartership, the first step towards becoming a Chartered Psychologist.

Students will be situated with the Department of Psychology and will learn theories and practical skills covering a range of psychological approaches, including social, biological, developmental and cognitive psychology, as well as more specialist topics, such as forensic, clinical, cyber, consumer, educational psychology, and neuropsychology through state-of-the art facilities. Importantly, they will acquire generic skills which are readily transferable to future careers, such as critical thinking, project management, presentation skills and professional practice.
