What you will study
The Bachelor of Arts in Primary Teaching with Early Years course provides quality training to teach in the 3-7 age range (Nursery, Reception and Key Stages 1) enabling students to graduate as a qualified teacher at the end of their three-year degree.
Graduates will develop the knowledge, skills and attitudes required by the teaching profession, as they learn the fundamentals of the national curriculum to fully prepare them for working in primary schools alongside student teachers working on the Bachelor of Arts in Primary Teaching.
In addition, students will pursue the advanced study of Early Years, where they will develop deeper knowledge and understanding of pedagogy and practice for teaching younger pupils and how this relates to the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework. They will gain vital hands-on experience of working within the classroom which develop their confidence and competence to teach effectively.
