The Food Science program gives students the opportunity to explore how raw commodities are processed into healthy, safe and appealing foods. Students have the option to focus their studies on either the business (product development and marketing) or the science (food quality and safety) aspects of this fascinating sector.
The Bachelor of Science (Food Science) is a four-year program with two options available:
• Science: Students will focus on the science and technology of food processing, packaging and preservation. • Business: Students will focus on the business and economics of food production, including marketing and finance.
