What you will study

Social workers support people in difficult circumstances to improve their wellbeing and challenge social injustice. Social workers work within legal systems to safeguard and provide protection to people who may be vulnerable. Social workers work with communities and with other services including: • health

• education • housing • the police

Studying social work will enable students to think critically about the work that social workers do. Students will develop skills in assessment and communication, while understanding the importance of social justice and a strong sense of professional ethics.
