Overview
The Associate in Science in Biology for Transfer (AS-T) prepares students for seamless transfer to a California State University to obtain a degree in Biological Sciences or a closely related discipline. Additionally, this degree allows them to learn the fundamental principles and practices in Biology in order to create a solid foundation and solid preparation that is appropriate for a variety of scientific disciplines. The AS-T courses for Biology are intended to provide a solid foundation for the student who wishes to pursue further study at the baccalaureate level and for some graduate level programs, or enter a pre-professional or professional program in a health-related field.
