University of Chester - Exton Park (Parkgate Road) Campus, Chester
The MSc in Haematology is designed to enable students to develop an up-to-date, advanced understanding of the disorders of blood and blood forming tissues. Using critical analytical skills, students will evaluate new developments in research into the blood sciences. Students will receive training in the skills required in the reading and interpretation of the literature and translating that into evidence-based practice. At Chester, they aim to develop students' research and writing skills so that they will be in a position to contribute to the scientific literature in an effective manner. The course culminates in the Research Dissertation, which will be assessed through the production of two articles in the style of published scientific work. The aim will be to develop these to publication with students if suitable.
