Overview
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.
To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.
University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Cyber Security (BP355) (114324K) RMIT’s Bachelor of Cyber Security prepares students to address one of the most significant challenges facing organisations today by developing the skills needed to become part of the solution.
The program equips students with specialist knowledge and expertise to troubleshoot, analyse, design, support and deliver effective cyber security solutions across a range of contexts.
This hands-on degree is aligned with the Australian Signals Directorate framework, which outlines the dynamic capabilities required to respond to current and emerging cyber threats. Students gain experience across areas such as computer forensics, blockchain, cyber security testing and artificial intelligence, preparing them to confidently tackle diverse cyber security challenges in the workplace.
