Overview
For entry to the 1st year of an undergraduate degree at Bournemouth University. Students' course length is determined mainly by their English language level (UKVI IELTS score or accepted equivalent). All students take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take extra modules focusing on one or more of English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.
Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Economics This Economics degree stands out by exposing students to the fundamentals of economics as well as to a broad set of economic specialisms. It also provides students with an advanced skill set related to statistics and econometrics. The emphasis of this course is in guided independent learning, which helps students develop into a self-motivated learner. When not attending lectures and seminars, students will be expected to read around the subject.
