The study of Accounting affords students the opportunity to apply real life applications. Certified Public Accountants manage the finance of business big and small, make a competitive wage salary and are always in need. During times of high unemployment, accounting jobs are always readily available.
The Associate of Applied Science in Accounting prepares students to work in a variety of positions as an accountant in industry, government, public accounting, and non-for-profit organizations. The curriculum focuses on fundamental accounting concepts that range from recording transactions, to reporting financial information to its users the degree offers career opportunities and a smooth transition into the Accounting at an affiliated college.
