Overview
The Bioveterinary Science degree utilises the strengths of the University of Chester in the areas of biology, behaviour and welfare. These strengths offer an opportunity to study animal health not only at the physiological and cellular level, but also at the behavioural level.
This holistic approach to animal health offers anyone studying Bioveterinary Science at Chester an interesting and complete understanding of how a disease will impact an individual animal. The Bioveterinary Science course also aims to examine the wider implications of animal health by looking at how it impacts wildlife ecology, and also how animal health effects the human population.
