Bournemouth University - Talbot Campus
This course has been developed in collaboration with the Joint Examination Board of The Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys (CIPA) and The Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys (ITMA).
The LLM in Intellectual Property can be achieved through a year-long programme that has been developed for both UK and international students.
The course is taught by academics of the renowned Centre for Intellectual Property Policy & Management (CIPPM), and enjoys input from intellectual property practitioners from some of the UK’s leading companies and practices. CIPPM is member of the Pan-European Seal Professional Traineeship Programme.
The Pan-European Seal is promoted in partnership by two of the world’s largest IP offices, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO) and the European Patent Office (EPO) together with a number of University partners. Under this Pan-European Seal, students of the LLM Intellectual Property course may apply for a 12-month paid traineeship at the EUIPO or the EPO.
