Our newly designed Real Estate courses are ideal for those looking to get ahead in their career. Whether students already have a background in the built environment or are changing career, our aim is to develop their expertise and give them the skills to flourish in the real estate industry.

They will work alongside other built environment postgraduates, gaining valuable contacts and insights into other disciplines. If they are looking to progress in general practice surveying, property management, investment , development, banking , government or other property related fields, Real Estate at LSBU could be perfect for them.

The course will deliver core RICS-accredited subjects addressing; Law for Property Professionals, Sustainability and Net Zero in the Built Environment and Property and Asset Management. These are proven and popular modules which set the industry's context.

Alongside these modules they will sit bespoke and challenging Real Estate subjects delivered by published academics covering, Corporate Real Estate Management, Real Estate Finance & Economics and Advanced Valuations. Those taking the MSc will write a related Dissertation on a topic of their own choosing.

Please note these modules have been updated and run this year and the content from September will reflect the improvements of the updates and our review. Further options may be available subject to class size. Historically these have included BIM, Building Control and International Real Estate.
