Overview
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.
To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.
University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Design - Digital Media (BP309) (080226G) RMIT’s Bachelor of Design (Digital Media) offers a design-focused approach to exploring diverse areas of media while developing strong digital media literacy.
The program combines theoretical knowledge with practical, industry-relevant skills, allowing students to specialise in areas such as interactive media, digital video, digital sound or digital environments.
Students engage with a range of fields, including web and app design, visual effects and motion graphics, interactive mobile media, sound design, virtual and augmented reality, and projection and digital installations.
Throughout the degree, students build a solid foundation in contemporary digital media design theory and practice, while learning how digital content is planned, produced, applied and integrated across different platforms and contexts.
