Overview
This programme combines psychology with counselling-related study and includes a foundation year to prepare students for undergraduate learning. Students can explore psychological theories, human development, behaviour, interpersonal relationships, research methods, and counselling concepts. The course encourages students to understand how psychological knowledge can contribute to communication, support, wellbeing, and professional practice. The foundation year provides additional preparation in academic study and research skills before students progress to the main degree. The programme is suitable for students interested in psychology, counselling, wellbeing, education, or support services. Graduates may progress into roles across support services, education, human resources, community work, research, or further professional training in counselling or psychology.
