The MSc Social and Public Policy program focuses on understanding the causes of, and potential solutions to, a range of important social issues. These issues include poverty, increasing economic and social inequalities, and international development agreements.
This course is considered ideal for individuals who wish to develop their capacity to analyze social and public policies at both national and international levels. It provides an opportunity to deepen one's understanding of the major aspects of social and public policy, including competing conceptions of citizenship and how these concepts inform social policy. Additionally, the course emphasizes the use of theories and research evidence to analyze, evaluate, and explain social and public policy change.
The program caters to individuals who have recently completed undergraduate courses of study, as well as those working in the community and voluntary sector, think-tanks, researchers, or at different levels of government. It has been thoughtfully designed to be valuable and relevant to students from both the UK and overseas. Interested individuals from all nations are strongly encouraged to apply.
