Students selecting a concentration in Mental Health can be in the field as early as their freshman year gaining experience and augmenting their classroom learning. Students in this concentration will work closely with advisors. Graduates of this program can take jobs as case managers, residential counselors, and intake coordinators, among other psychology-related professions. This concentration further helps to prepare students for graduate programs in mental health counseling, clinical psychology and social work.
