University of Nottingham - University Park
Students will receive instruction from active researchers and collaborate with university research groups dedicated to addressing contemporary challenges in medical microbiology and immunology, including the study of COVID-19, antimicrobial resistance, and immunity’s function in health and disease.
Core topics in the curriculum encompass introductory immunology and microbiology, the molecular foundations of bacterial and viral pathogenesis, innovative immune therapies, and the cellular and molecular principles governing innate immunity.
The program offers students opportunities to:
Enhance their expertise in medical microbiology and immunology, equipping them for scientific research endeavors.
Acquire hands-on experience in diverse techniques from molecular biology, microbiology, and immunology.
Develop skills in the critical analysis of published scientific literature.
Pursue in-depth research in selected areas of microbiology and/or immunology through a designated research project.
As the university states them. Whether you meet them depends on your own results — ask us and a consultant will check with you.
Tell us, and a consultant will go through the entry requirements with you, work out what you already have and what is missing, and take the application from there.
