Overview
This International Foundation Year provides international students with preparation for the BSc (Hons) Geography degree. Students develop foundational knowledge in social studies while strengthening research, academic writing, communication, critical thinking and independent learning skills. The programme supports adaptation to UK university teaching and assessment. Successful completion allows progression to undergraduate Geography, where students can explore people, places, environments, sustainability and geographical processes. The pathway is suitable for students interested in environmental and social issues and seeking future opportunities in environmental management, planning, sustainability, research, public services, geographical analysis and related professional areas.
