Associate of Applied Science - Advanced Manufacturing: Automation - The Associate of Applied Science in Advanced Manufacturing: Automation prepares students with advanced technical expertise in automated manufacturing systems, robotics, industrial controls, and smart production technologies. The curriculum integrates programmable logic controllers, robotics, electrical systems, industrial networking, quality assurance, process improvement, and manufacturing operations while emphasizing productivity, safety, and continuous innovation.. Students participate in applied laboratory experiences that strengthen analytical thinking, technical communication, equipment programming, and systems integration skills. Graduates are prepared for careers in advanced manufacturing, industrial automation, robotics, process control, and production management while supporting the evolving needs of modern manufacturing industries.
