The Computer Information Systems Department offers a variety of courses designed to give students both theoretical and hands-on experience in a wide variety of computer-related areas.
The new associate degree programs — Applications (Software) and Infrastructure (Hardware) — will allow students to be part of the solution to cyber crimes by joining the rapidly growing field of cybersecurity. Students will learn to protect computers, networks, programs, and data from unintended or unauthorized access, change, or destruction. The programs are designed to give students cutting-edge skills and prepare to enter the job market and gain or upgrade their computer skills for immediate employment needs.
