The MSc Nutrition, Health and Wellbeing at the University of West London has been designed in consultation with industry and academic advisers across public nutrition, food, agriculture, sports science and consumer sciences.
The course equips students with knowledge, understanding and practical skills in public nutrition, health and wellbeing through a range of focused modules and diverse assessments.
Students will explore current public nutrition challenges, including conditions such as Type 2 diabetes, by studying epidemiology, cultural diets and approaches to improving health and wellbeing.
They will also develop a comprehensive understanding of food systems and their impact on public health at national and global levels, alongside learning how to influence the public nutrition environment through quality improvement methods, eating behaviour insights and health communication.
The course also provides insight into sustainability and sustainable diets, enhancing students’ employability in response to emerging challenges such as food and nutrition insecurity.
