Overview
The Master of Engineering (Robotics and Mechatronics Engineering) prepares students to lead the introduction of new technologies and operating practices in advanced manufacturing and a range of other technical industries including robotics and mechanical systems design, mechatronics and micro- and nano-technology.
Students will study high-demand areas including: • advanced mechatronics system design • advanced control systems (including process control) • imaging systems • advanced robotic systems
There is a market demand for engineers with advanced skills such as control and robotics design and the ability to develop and implement new processes in agile manufacturing, ensuring innovations can emanate from all levels of the workforce.
With a focus on project-based and multi-disciplinary learning, students will develop their professional engineering competencies in project management, teamwork, leadership, problem-solving, communication and research.
